Al-Siyasah: From your point of view, what do you expect from the international community?

Mr. Mohadessin: We think the responsibility of the international community is to completely stop their negotiations with this regime and withdraw any investments they have made in it. They must know that, as long as the clerical regime of terror governs under the name of religion, there is no hope for reform.

We pose these questions to international community: “What have you achieved from all these lengthy negotiations with the regime in Iran? Has not only the regime benefited from them, and used its financial resources to remain in power and cause more bloodshed? Are not all of its actions for its own benefit alone? Have not its policies been very costly for Arabs, and other Islamic and secular countries in the region? Have not all these negotiations been waste of time for all others, and benefitted only the regime?”

The international community must now undergo a serious and significant change of attitude toward the regime in Iran. This change should be toward taking power away from this regime, and recognizing the hopes and aspirations of the Iranian people and the Iranian resistance. The change should work toward overthrowing the tyrannical regime of terrorists.

It is not enough to simply understand that none of the Arabic, Islamic, and secular countries in the region are immune from the fire and vicious plans of this regime. Have not Khamenei and his security counselor openly declared that Syria is the 35th province of Iran? Has not Sheikh Rafe al-Rafei, the spiritual Mufti of Iraq said, “Iraq’s Nouri al-Maliki takes his orders from the clerics in Tehran.”? Has not this regime spread evil, pro-Tehran ideas in Bahrain? It does not appear that he is the representative of Bahrain people, but is rather taking the side of Iran’s clerical regime. Does not Lebanon suffer from Satan’s party (Hezbollah), which is connected to the great Satan Sayyid Ali Khamenei, who is responsible for the infighting of the various Lebanese factions? Have not Khamenei’s team and Qasem Soleimani, commander of Quds terrorist forces, tried to bribe senior Afghan officials? Has not Azerbaijan been suffering from the clerical regime’s terrorists sent there to carry out explosions? Have not various intelligence ministers tried to bribe Egyptians to become agents for Iran, and influence and lead astray the people demonstrating for democracy in Egypt?

Now the question for the international community is: “What will be your response to all of these terrorist actions and the crossing of the red lines of international behavior?” Where is the international community, while the government of Iran is killing people in Iran, Iraq, and Syria? The USA spent billions of dollars in Iraq and lost thousands of soldiers to injury and death, just to leave a regime dependent on the clerics in Baghdad, who bomb and murder thousands of innocent people, and foment intertribal warfare. These horrors are all part of a campaign by the clerical regime in Tehran. Where is the USA now? Was Rafsanjani not talking about the USA when he said: “We will surround them in Iraq.”?

Al-Siyasah: Do you see any relationship between the prevailing situation in Syria and Iran?

Mr. Mohadessin: There is certainly a strong relationship between Iran and the current situation Syria. The clerical regime with all its power has entered into conflict between the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian people. Tehran is fully aware that the overthrow of al-Assad will undoubtedly lead to the collapse of its own regime. So, the clerics, committing all sorts of illegal actions, are trying to keep Bashar al-Assad’s regime in power.

This is an important issue, that Iran’s regime is actively fighting against the Syrian people and the Syrian uprising. In addition, Tehran is a principal force behind the bombings in Iraq that shed the blood of innocent Iraqis. It is the clerical regime that has sparked the intertribal warfare in Iraq. This regime is responsible for all the evil plans and the terrorist incidents in the region.

A few minutes ago, I was listening to a statement by General Salim Idris, Chief of the Free Syrian Army. He said, “We are facing Lebanese Hezbollah forces, Assaeb ul-Haq’s forces of Iraq, al-Maliki’s group, and Iran’s Sepah Pasdaran (Revolutionary Guard). They are all supporting al-Assad’s army.”

I would like to ask you: “Are there any qualitative or quantitative differences between the role of Iran in the Iran-Iraq war, and what the Iranian regime is doing now against Syrian people by supporting Bashar al-Assad’s regime? Is this not the same war?” The clerical regime has brought all its power to support al-Assad, knowing that if Damascus falls, Tehran will be next.

We say to our Arab brothers that this is the regime that yesterday was fighting against Iraq. Today it is fighting in Syria, and this is the regime that spreads violence in Yemen and other countries in the region. This regime does not want any good for these countries. It is all about doing evil. So we should be aware of all the devilish plans the clerical regime has put into play in different places. I am asking my Arab brothers: “Was there any fighting or tribal and factional warfare in the area before the influence of this regime as we are facing them today?” We have a big responsibility. We must stand with the Syrian and Iraqi people, and defy this regime in Tehran by supporting the people of Iran and their demands for change.
