International Leaders Call for Blacklist of IRGC

In a January 31 article By Heshmat Alavi, political and rights activist focusing on Iran for Al Arabiya, he writes about Iran and the unrest in the Middle East that created ISIS.According to Alavi, the moment the mullahs took charge of Iran’s 1979 revolution support for terrorism received a boost.  After a period what seemed to be an open political atmosphere, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and paramilitary Basij militia began a campaign of oppression, arrests, torture and executions targeting not only dissidents, but anyone daring to raise a voice.  Alavi says that this is when “the first ISIS” was born, and over the last 38 years this entity has been more ruthless than today’s ISIS.
