Russia to use Iran's Hamadan air base for Syria airstrikes

In his article for UPI on November 30, Allen Cone writes that Russia is considering using Iran's Hamadan airbase to launch airstrikes on insurgents in Syria if its aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov, leaves Syria's coastline on the Mediterranean for a new mission, according to Russian and Iranian officials.

Report Points to Iran Sending Arms to Rebels in Yemen

A November 29 article in Reuters, by Katharine Houreld reports on arms smuggling on the Arabian Sea.

When three dhows were raided earlier this year, a report by the British-based organization, Conflict Armament Research, said that  some of the weapons found matched arms taken from Houthi rebels in Yemen, suggesting links between Iranian suppliers and the Yemeni war.

U.S. policy fails in Middle East to counter Iranian terrorism: Expert

An expert in middle-eastern affairs has written an op-ed for the Gatestone Institute about how failed US policies in the Middle East have only increased Iranian influence there, and the Iranian Regime’s deadly plans for the Gaza Strip Region.

Khaled Abu Tomah stated that since the agreement of the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran has only increased its meddling in the affairs of other middle eastern states, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Lebanon.
