On the 60th anniversary of the PMOI’s founding, Resistance Units across Iran reignited the spirit of defiance, signaling that the struggle for freedom is alive and unstoppable.
On the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), Iran’s courageous Resistance Units once again turned streets and neighborhoods across the country into arenas of defiance and cries for freedom.
In Tehran and dozens of other cities, Resistance Units carried out coordinated operations that underscored a critical message: no matter how widespread the regime’s repression, it cannot extinguish the flames of anger and hope burning in the hearts of the Iranian people.
The Resistance Units ignited protest fires, displayed banners, and covered city walls with revolutionary slogans. Images of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, leaders of the Iranian Resistance, appeared across the country. Chants of “Down with the principle of Velayat-e Faqih” and “Long live freedom” once again resonated through Iran’s streets.
These actions were not merely commemorations of six decades of struggle. They were a clear call to Iran’s rebellious youth: the PMOI remains the standard-bearer of the cause of freedom, and the path to liberation lies in nationwide uprisings and the growing network of Resistance Units.
While the regime seeks to impose despair on society through warmongering and internal repression, the determined and spirited activities of the Resistance Units demonstrated where the true power of change resides—in the streets, among the people, advancing the fight for freedom with unyielding resolve.
Sixty years of PMOI resistance—through prisons, torture chambers, and executions under both the Shah and the clerical regime—came alive in these actions. Each flame lit was a continuation of the sacrifices of martyrs who gave their lives for freedom.
Through their heroic defiance, the Resistance Units proved once more that the future belongs to the people and to organized resistance. No wall of repression can withstand the rising tide of Iran’s freedom movement. The message of these operations is clear: the regime’s end is near, and the dawn of freedom is on the horizon.
