INU - On August 17, the Iranian regime’s anti-riot Special Forces opened fire on inmates incarcerated in Qezel Hessar prison near Karaj, killing five and wounding dozens more. The action came in response to prisoner protests against the transfer of their cellmates to the prison’s execution hall. According to reports from within Qezel Hessar, at least 11 inmates were also hanged en masse on Monday, August 18.
