Iran under mullahs ranks 144 in corruption among 177 countries

In the inaugural speech in a conference on Wednesday January 8 on the prevention of fraud and financial abuses, Mohammad Shariatmadari said: “According to international statistics, Iran’s rank has plummeted by 56 in the past eight years in terms of financial corruption and is currently ranked 144th among 177 countries. In just one year, from 2012 to 2013, Iran fell by 11 places.”
