Before the 1979 revolution in Iran, Khomeini wanted to form a Shiite utopia under the hypocritical pretext of a state that would be led by believers of Muhammed al-Mahdi’s Twelver Shiite Muslim tradition. Twelver Shiites believe that al-Mahdi, or the Hidden Imam, is their messiah and they await his return to earth (which will come at the height of great suffering).

INU - In certain parts of the country concerts are banned, and families are deprived of enjoying live music. The ban affects not only foreign-style music, but even traditional concerts were canceled in Khorasan Razavi province. An Iranian family from the holy city of Mashhad is protesting the cancellation of concerts there. They’ve taken their protest on the road.

INU - Reportedly, in the latest figures to be compiled regarding the number of protests currently taking place in Iran, there are an average of 20 protests staged each day. One sector of the economic and social fabric of Iran staging protests is the nursing sector. The situation of the nursing community in Iran is getting the attention of the international community.

INU - The Iranian government has been involved in talks with Western social media companies regarding the censoring of content to the approval of the country’s strict religious authorities. However, the companies have been criticized for a perceived lack of transparency in these talks.
