On April 17TH, Evin Prison was raided and many prisoners, especially political prisoners, were severely beaten. Prison officials refuse to give any of these injured prisoners any medical treatment.Regime’s senior officials have denied that these beatings took place. On April 23rd, Head of the Judiciary Sadeq Larijani, speaking to a meeting of the officials of this branch said:
