The Iranian Regime’s guards at Raja’i Shahr Prison (also known as Ghordasht Prison) in Karaj attacked and severely beat Iranian Sunni prisoners of conscience after they held a peaceful protest over prison conditions and denial of medical treatment.

New Batch of Multi-Year Sentences as Iranian Judiciary’s Crackdown Escalates

It was reported on Monday that the Iranian judiciary had handed down new sentences against a number of activists and journalists, in connection with a longstanding labor rights dispute involving the Haft Tapeh sugarcane plant. The plant was the site of several protests, chiefly last November, in which workers demanded unpaid wages that in many cases had accrued for months.

August Human Rights Report for Iran Released

An Iranian human rights watchdog has issued a report into human rights abuses in Iran for the month of August, which makes for horrific reading. Iran is besieged by economic, social, and political crises and Iran Human Rights Monitor reports that, in an attempt to silence dissent, the Regime has increased its crackdown on Iranians.
