INU - Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been imprisoned in Iran since her arrest in Tehran in 2016. The Iranian authorities accused her of spying and plotting to topple the Iranian government. However, her family maintain that she was in Iran to introduce her young daughter to her family.

It highlighted that the Iranian regime “carried out a shameless campaign of repression” last year in which protests were crushed and mass arrests were made.
