Former political prisoner Fatemeh Ziyaee was arrested at her house on Saturday, June 8.
Agents of the Intelligence Ministry raided her house and after searching and investigating the whole place, they arrested her and confiscated her personal belongings and transferred to an unknown location.

Fatemeh Ziyaee, 54 was a political prisoner during the 1980s. She was arrested in 1981 and spent 5 years in prison.

She was arrested for the second time on January 21, 2009 for visiting her two daughters in Ashraf and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison.

Mrs. Ziyaee spent 100 days in solitary confinement, despite suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. She was finally released after 2 years of imprisonment.
