NCRI – The Iranian regime executed hanged 15 prisoners on Saturday in the central prison of the city of Zahedan, in south eastern Iran.

Since two days prior to the group execution, the authorities had transferred all prisoner to the prison’s solitary confinements from women and youth section of the prison except three political prisoners that had been transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence and Security bureau in the province.

To prevent any information on the execution all the communications from prison to outside world were cutoff.

Execution of political prisoners as common criminals is a common practice by the Iranian regime.

Since the beginning of this year, 486 have been executed in Iran with 246 taking place after the June sham presidential election.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance reiterated Thursday, the International Day against Death Penalty , on the need to refer the Iranian regime’s human rights dossier to the UN Security Council.

Mrs. Rajvi said: The heightening trend of executions in Iran demonstrates that the claims of moderation of the religious fascism ruling Iran has no aim but to deceive the international community or to justify policy of appeasement toward this regime.

While through empty gestures, the Iranian regime is trying to have sanctions lifted, through carrying out executions, conducting massacre in Ashraf by Maliki’s government in Iraq, ruthless slaughtering in Syria, increasing export of fundamentalism and terrorism, and expediting the nuclear weapons project, the clerical regime is attempting to avert public rage and prevent its inevitable downfall.
