NCRI – “The human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to warrant serious concern, with no sign of improvement,” said the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in Iran.

The report published on Tuesday by Dr. Ahmed Shaheed says: Of particular alarm are reports that some 724 executions took place between January 2012 and June 2013; of those, 202 were reportedly carried out in the first half of 2013, 135 of which were officially announced by the Government.”

However, according to the figures published by the Iranian Resistance over 250 have been executed since sham presidential election in June when Hassan Rouhani term began.
