NCRI – China is to help Iran with technology to control and censor free use of the Internet within the regime.

Nasrullah Jahangard, head of Iranian regime’s Information Technology Organization, said: “China has had positive experiences regarding the development of IT in the past four decades, and we hope to make the best of their experience.

“The Ministry of Information Technology of Iran also welcomes activities of China’s powerful internet companies in Iran to run and implement National Information Network.”

On January 11, regime’s President Hassan Rouhani stressed the need for the creation of Iran’s National Information Network – aimed at surveying and restricting Internet use in one of the most rigorously censored nations on earth.
