A 26-year-old mother is facing execution on February 2 for the murder of her husband, which she denies, in the city of Esfahan (in central of Iran).
The woman named only as Farzaneh will only be spared death if the victim's family give their consent to spare her life.
The woman has been in prison since the alleged offence, which she denies, was committed six years ago.
Farzaneh was forced to marry by her parents at the age of 16. Her ten-year-old daughter will be given to her husband's family if the death sentence is carried out, according to reports.
