Mr. Ahmad Sohrabei, a younger child of Mr. Yousef Sohrabei who was executed by the Iranian regime in 2008 was abducted  and taken to an undisclosed location by the Intelligence Department of Iranshahr (a city south of Sistan & Baluchestan Province) on February 18, 2014. During all this time, he has just once called and talked with his family for a few minutes. In order to put pressure on the family and friends of this young man, the intelligence of Iranshahr even refuses visits to his family and claims that it has no information on him. It should be mentioned that Molavi Yousef Sohrabei, Ahmad’s father, along with Molavi Abdolqoddous Molazehi, were hanged in Zahedan’s central prison (southeastern Iran) on April 9, 2008 by the verdict of mullahs’ court for opposition to the regime of Velayat-e faqih. Later on, this incident caused Ahmad’s mother to have a heart attack and pass away.

The family and relatives of Ahmad Sohrabi have referred to province’s intelligence centers and judicial bodies, but none has confirmed that they are holding Ahmad. This is while the vehicle of Mr. Ahmad Sohrabei which he was using at the time of his apprehension by the intelligence agents, was handed over to his family by the intelligence agents on the first few days of his disappearance.
