Previously, regime’s former President Ahmadinejad who was obedient to Khamenei, had numerously questioned the holocaust and tagged it as a myth made up by the West.

Many in the West related the denial of the holocaust to the abnormal mindset of Ahmadinejad himself. But this claim was originally fabricated by Khamenei, the mullahs’ leader.

For the first time in 7 February 2007, Khamenei’s personal and official website posted his speech to the air force personnel where he tagged holocaust as a myth made up by the West. Then again, on 9 September 2011, speaking in the regime’s Assembly of Experts, Khamenei stated: “In a country, when someone objects to the ‘myth of holocaust’ and says that he does not believe in it, they put him in jail and condemn him as to why he denies a fictitious historical incident.”

The year after, on 17 September 2012, when he was in Noshahr’s Maritime Scientific University, Khamenei called the holocaust a “myth” and an “unknown”. The video of Khamenei’s speech on 7 September 2013 where he denies the holocaust has been widely published in the internet and is there for all to see.
