On the anniversary of the December 2017 and November 2019 protests, the Iran regime’s officials, elements and media are remembering this bitter event as the ‘sedition’ for the regime.
They remember it while speaking about the consequences of these nationwide protests that have shaken the regime. And say that the regime is still suffering from their aftershocks.
They analyze the aftermath of these protests and speak about ‘what did happen and might be happening.’ And are happy that they are still not overthrown and call the regime’s reaction and the killing of the people the ‘Enthusiasm of December 30, (2017)’.
For their victory, they praise each other and are happy that they are still able to plunder and loot the people and the country. And to destroy the land and kill the talents. They are happy to have survived these major waves of protests and hope that they can survive with the help of their Revolutionary Guards after becoming a nuclear power.
But interesting is that in between these arrogant feelings they are forced to confess about the regime’s critical situation and its vulnerability.
Cleric Ahmad Khatami one of the regime’s main clerics:
“This humble cleric was once invited to hold a speech in one of Tehran’s squares to read the Ashura prayer. I’m no one that should be heavily protected. A cleric with one or two companions at least. But I saw that a queue of bodyguards came.
“I asked what is going on? A humble cleric… One said that the seditionists hit Khatami with stones. And if you saw that stones did not finish the job, shoot him.”
While crying against the so-called seditionists he cannot hide his fear and warned the regime’s elements that, “the enemy’s attempt in the foreign media and cyberspace led by the United States is to separate you kind people from the supreme leader and, by the grace of God, they will not be able to do it.”
And another one is forced to confess about the MEK’s role in revealing the regime’s malign nuclear projects and ambitions while calling them and its supporters inside the country the seditionists and saying:
“The sanctions are one of the destructive actions of this sedition, which has engulfed the country for about 8 months with accidents. And gave the enemy the hope to continue its plots, and therefore you see that after this sedition the enemy increased the sanctions against us and the people.” (State-TV Channel of Qazvin, December 30, 2021)
The regime’s critical situation and the explosive society and the continuation of the MEK’s Resistance Units actions are shaking the regime with all its factions.
Ali Saeedi, Head of the Political Ideological Office of the Commander-in-Chief counted two characteristics for the people’s protests:
- Regime change–centric
“Sedition is repeatable. The fourth complexity and the fourth lesson of sedition are that it can be repeated. Why? Because sedition is a method, it is a model, it is a mechanism of the overthrow, it is a plan of the overthrow, so it can be repeated in the past, in our time, and the future.” (State-TV Astan-e Qods-e Razavi, December 30, 2021)
Deputy Representative of the Supreme Leader in the Revolutionary Guards Hossein Tayeb warned the regime’s hopeless elements and said:
“We must never forget the seditionists, as the Supreme Leader says, sedition is the red line of the system.”
What he said is that don’t forget the people’s protests and the Resistance Units. This is the regime’s main fear. The regime does not fear the threats of the world’s power, because it knows very well that their first choice is not confronting the regime but appeasement and being in peace with this regime. But contrary the people’s choice is fighting and defeating this regime.
As many of the regime’s officials over the past years expressed that if they would not fight and defend the bloodthirsty regime of Syria, they must fight and defend themselves inside the country, what they are calling in false the threat of ISIS, which is, in reality, the threat by the people’s uprising.
Recently Sa’dollah Zare’ei a regime’s IRGC commander admits to this explicitly:
