INU - As shown by the protests that have taken over Khuzestan in recent days, the Iranian people’s protest for regime change has not died down since January, nor has it been quashed by the mullahs.

INU - On Thursday, the CHRI reported upon a new round of summons that had been issued to rights activists in various parts of the country. The activists were questioned by the cyber police and by the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, and sources indicate that some are now facing national security charges, for which they could be subject to lengthy prison sentences, or perhaps even the death penalty.

INU - Iran’s former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is now warning the Regime that it’s oppression of the Iranian people will end in “chaos” and potentially bring down the Regime.

INU - The Iranian Regime’s suppressive security forces have violently put down a legitimate protest by Arab citizens in central Ahvaz on Saturday night.
The security forces, backed by units of anti-riot police and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), used tear gas and violence against protesters to break up these demonstrations, according to eyewitnesses.

INU - In the Iranian city of Ahvaz, demonstrators protested what they called the Iranian authority’s marginalization of Iranians of Arab origin and its efforts to erase their Arab identity. They accused officials of systematically alienating Iranian citizens of Arab ethnicity.

INU - Protests over droughts have been raging in Iran since the start of 2018, according to Reuters, mainly centred in the areas of Isfahan, central Iran, and Khuzestan province in the west, a place that is mainly inhabited by non-Persian Arabs.
