Baluch Protesters Resume Iran Revolution – Day 99

Baluch men and women take to the streets, pledging to continue this revolution to meet freedom, justice, and prosperity for entire of Iran.

On Friday, December 23, 2022, Iranian-Baluch citizens resumed the revolution following the Friday Prayer in various cities of Sistan & Baluchestan province. Large crowds of worshippers took to the streets, chanting anti-regime slogans and pledging to conclude the ongoing revolution.

“Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the dictator,” “Death to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Basij agents,” “Political prisoners must be freed,” “Khamenei is a tyrant; we will bury him,” “Death to the regime of executions,” “Death to [Khamenei] for all these years of crime,” “This is the year of [Khamenei] overthrow,” “We pledge on our compatriots’ blood that we are standing to the end,” “Freedom, freedom, freedom,” and “This is the last message: another execution and there will be an uprising,” chanted citizens in Zahedan.

Protesters also raised placards reading:
—You [regime officials] are embezzlers, plunders, and rioters, but you execute us!
—We would never give up; we may become victorious or martyrs!
—Death to the worst-ever dictator in history—No surrender!
—Political prisoners must be released!
—Baluch, Kurd, Turk, Lor, Fars, Bakhtiari, Azari, etc. UNITED! UNITED!

Furthermore, brave women joined the demonstrations, chanting, “My dear brother, I’ll take revenge for your blood” and “Khamenei, you dictator! We’ll bury you.”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, hailed to brave protesters in Sistan & Baluchestan. “Today again, our fellow Baluch compatriots came to the streets in Zahedan. They rebuffed the regime and its accomplices with chants of ‘death to Khamenei,’ ‘My dear brother, we will take back your blood,’ and ‘We will not surrender; we will die or be victorious,’” she said.

December 23 marked the 99th day of anti-regime protests in Iran. The demonstrations began following the heinous murder of Mahsa Amini, 22, in police custody. However, it immediately turned into a revolution against the entire theocratic regime.

According to the Iranian opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), the protests have extended to 282 cities. The regime has killed over 750 citizens, injured tens of thousands, and detained more than 30,000. The MEK has published the names of 603 killed protesters.
