On Thursday, the bazaar intersection of Shahr-e Kord was at the center of this march. Days prior to the protest, people used internet, flyers and banners in cities around the province to call people to participate in the protest. The state-run IRNA news agency was compelled to report this great gathering and it wrote that the bazaar intersection of Shahr-e Kord was blocked.
Experts have declared that building the tunnels that reach underground waters in the Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province(west Iran) would cause irreparable damage to this province.
