The Iranian regime has started a new wave of repression and executions in the hope to intimidate the people and stop a raised nation who have decided to set up the next revolution.

Following this, the regime announced its intention to execute another two young protesters. Right after this decision freedom-loving people and family members and friends of the death row prisoners gathered in front of the Gohardasht prison of Karaj on Monday early morning.

Videos that were published day and night on social media showed dozens of protestors and relatives of condemned prisoners chanting anti-regime slogans outside the prison and demanding the release of these people.

Mohammad Boroughani and Mohammad Ghobadloo are currently awaiting execution in Gohardasht Karaj prison near the capital. The two men’s death sentences were upheld by the regime’s judiciary, the last step before the authorities could carry out the executions. Both inmates have recently moved to solitary confinement ahead of their expected executions.

Before that, on Saturday the regime hanged two protesters. Mohammad Mehdi Karami, 22, and Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, 39. Until now four men have been hanged for their role in the ongoing protests.

The exact number of those at risk of imminent execution is still unknown. But it can be predicted from the speeches of the regime’s officials and its media that many peaceful protesters face execution after sham trials.

As usual, the regime did not allow the prisoners two visit their families before the execution. Even their lawyers were banned to represent their clients in court.

Today, the state-run Tasnim News agency reported that the regime has confirmed the execution of three other prisoners. Mirhashemi Baltaghi, Majid Kazemi Sheikh Shabani, and Yaqoubi Kordsafli will be executed on charges of moharebeh.

The regime’s cruelty is facing growing protests and antipathy from many countries and international figures. Denmark and Belgium announced they will summon Tehran’s ambassadors, and new EU sanctions are on the way.

Pope Francis condemned the regime’s execution of protesters in his traditional New Year’s address to diplomats.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday condemned Iran for using the death penalty against demonstrators, and his spokesperson said Berlin wanted to crank up the pressure on the regime’s authorities with new international measures.

The US State Department on Saturday condemned “in the strongest terms” what it said were the “sham trials & execution” of two men in Iran.

The French government condemned the regime’s cruelty and, in a statement, said: “France utterly condemns today’s executions of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, 22, and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, 39, who were sentenced to death after taking part in the demonstrations in Iran.”

UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly summoned Iran’s most senior diplomat in the UK after the regime executed two more anti-regime protestors.

Mr. Cleverly said: “Today I have summoned the Iranian Chargé d’Affaires to condemn in the strongest possible terms the abhorrent executions we witnessed over the weekend. The Iranian regime must end its campaign of brutal repression and start listening to the concerns of its people.”

January 9 marked the 116th day of anti-regime protests in Iran. The demonstrations began following the heinous murder of Mahsa Amini, 22, in police custody. However, it immediately turned into a revolution against the entire theocratic regime.

According to the Iranian opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), the protests have extended to 282 cities. The regime has killed over 750 citizens, injured tens of thousands, and detained more than 30,000. The MEK has published the names of 627 killed protesters.

In response to the execution of Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, defiant youths attacked and torched the regime’s sites in Hashtgerd, Bandar Abbas, Takab, Urmia, Ahvaz, Hamedan, Langarud, Qazvin, Yazdanshar and Tehran.

Last night the regime faced protests in many cities, including Arak, Tehran, Abdanan, Bandar Abbas, Qazvin, Gohardasht, Mashhad, Javanrud, Mahabad, Babol, Dashti County, Isfahan, Sanandaj, and Karaj.

This shows that contrary to the regime’s expectations, the people have decided to continue their protests and resistance. Since the start of the protests, not even a day, the regime enjoyed its supposed peace and security, after applying any form of repression.

The truth is that the world’s biggest and most notorious sponsor of terrorism is running out of all resources. It is time for the world powers to end their appeasement policy. This regime is unrestrainable.

Unfortunately, the regime is so used to the indifference of the world powers that its officials feel entitled to their increasing bellicosity. This regime cannot be reformed, let alone become rationalized.
