Iran’s People Take to Streets Despite Threats by Top IRGC Commander, Day 45

According to the latest reports protesters in at least 203 cities throughout Iran’s 31 provinces have taken to the streets for 45 days now seeking to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.

On October 29 Iran regime’s desperate, tired, and frustrated head of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), Hossein Salami warned the Iranian people to stop their protests, which are continuing despite the regime’s increasing brutality and conspiracies.

He said: “We are again telling our youth, the minority who have been deceived, stop wicked acts. Today is the end of the riots. Don’t take to streets anymore.”

In parallel to this warning, the regime attacked yesterday many universities. And according to the regime judiciary website Mizan Online, the regime has started the trial of the arrested protesters.

This website wrote: “The first hearing of a number of defendants from the recent riots opened this morning at Tehran’s revolutionary tribunal.”

Charges have been filed against more than 1,000 people from all provinces. Most of them will face the death penalty. Mizan Online reported that Mahamad Ghobadlou citizen of Tehran is charged with “corruption on earth.” Saeed Shirazi is facing the same charge for “inciting people to commit crimes against the country’s security.”

Saman Seyedi, Mohammad Boroghani, and Mohsen Rezazadeh are all charged with “moharebeh” (war against God).

But the people are defying such warnings by continuing rebellions. They showed on the same day of Salami’s warnings and new death penalties that the regime cannot daunt them.

They demonstrated their fury after three new murders by the regime. Parisa Bahmani a general surgeon, from Zanjan, was killed because of a shot to her head.

A 17-year-old-girl named Sadaf Movahedi was battered by the regime’s security forces to death. Mehrshad Shahidi, a 19-year-old celebrity chef, and a student died on Wednesday while also allegedly in the custody of the regime’s Revolutionary Guard.

In support of the people’s protests, thousands of freedom-loving Iranians across the world took to the streets on Saturday. People formed continuous lines in Germany, the UK, Italy, France, and Canada to support the protests. They asked the Western government to adopt a fiercer policy against the regime, cut off their relations, and close the regime’s embassies.

Today October 30 is marking the 45th day of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people. So far, demonstrations have been recorded in more than 203 cities with 450 martyrs and 25,000 arrests. The names of 294 of these martyrs have been announced by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).
