On Friday, November 18, 2022, the Iranian people bid farewell to their beloved children fallen for freedom, chanting, “Martyrs never die.” They turned mourning ceremonies in Izeh, Tabriz, Qazvin, Sanandaj, Semirom, Kamyaran, Mahabad, Piranshahr, Shiraz, Saqqez, and Bukan into revolutionary momentums.

Oppressive forces mercilessly targeted citizens with live ammunition in several areas, leaving dozens of people injured and killed. Instead, protesters exercised their right to self-defense and attacked oppressors in some areas. Citizens also attacked regime offices and Revolutionary Guards bases with Molotov cocktails.

November 18 marked the 64th day of anti-regime protests in Iran. The demonstrations began following the heinous murder of Mahsa Amini, 22, in police custody. However, it immediately turned into a revolution against the entire theocratic regime.

According to the Iranian opposition Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK/PMOI), the protests have extended to 231 cities. The regime has killed more than 600 citizens, injured tens of thousands, and detained over 30,000. The MEK has published the names of 446 killed protesters.
