The Government of Iraq clandestinely buried the bodies of 52 martyrs of September 1, 2013 attack on Camp Ashraf to whitewash and cover up its complicity in the mass murder of unarmed Iranian dissidents.

We learned with utter disappointment that the bodies of 52 victims of September 1, 2013 attack on Camp Ashraf were clandestinely buried. This secret burial without the presence of family members or even the UN representative who officially witnessed and signed documents so that the bodies could be transferred to a morgue in Baquba until an independent investigation is carried out, speaks volume in the Iraqi government’s complicity in this crime against humanity and its attempts to whitewash and cover up.

On the eve of the 35th anniversary of the anti-monarchial revolution, the first universal convention of Iranians abroad was held in Paris, France on February 8, 2014. Over 300 Iranian associations from all over the world participated. These associations were represented by a wide range of intellectuals, political and human rights activists, women’s rights activists, entrepreneurs, experts of many professions, and students. Many of these representatives were ethnic and religious minorities.
