Iranian Opposition TV Launches Four Day Telethon

INU- Iranian opposition satellite TV station, Simay-Azadi (meaning “The Images of Freedom”) TV channel has launched a four-day Telethon to fund its TV Programs from Friday, November 30, which will continue till Monday, December 3, 2018.

The TV channel announced: “The objective of the Simay-Azadi is to provide a truthful media outlet to foster a democratic Iran that respects the human rights of all.”

INU - Back in 2013, the small nation of Albania began to take in the first Iranian dissidents from the People's Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and offer them refuge after the years of hell they had endured in Camp Ashraf and Camp Liberty inside Iraq.

After a three-year-long transfer process, some 3,000 MEK members are safely housed in special accommodation in Tirana, provided by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.

Iran: Character assassinations and slander against PMOI/MEK is ineffective

INU - McCarthyism, a term that first came into use in 1950, describes the practice of making serious accusations without the existence of substantiating evidence. It is a type of character assassination that has been used a lot throughout history.

The Iranian opposition, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI/MEK), has been on the receiving-end of such practices for decades. Recently, it has been slandered by Arron Merat, a journalist that wrote a misinformed article in the Guardian that distorts the truth, and Paul R. Pillar who published an article for the National Interest. Both were bold attempts to harm the legitimacy of the PMOI / MEK.
