Court Fines German Daily for Publishing Fake News About the Iranian Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK)

As the Iranian regime has been stuck in domestic and foreign quagmires, it resorted to relaunch misinformation campaign against its true opposition MEK

A court in Germany ruled on Wednesday that a hit-piece last month by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) contained false allegations against Iran’s main opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), that constitutes ‘defamation’. It ordered FAZ’s editors to delete the allegations or face a fine and a jail sentence.
