Maryam Rajavi called on the Canadian Government to raise the dossier of violations regarding Iranian refugees’ rights at Camp Liberty

During the hearing session in Canadian Parliament, Maryam Rajavi called on the Canadian Government to raise the dossier of violations regarding Iranian refugees’ rights at Camp Liberty in the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, addressed the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs at the Canadian Parliament on May 15.

Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran spoke before the Canadian parliament on Thursday and asked it to initiate an independent international investigation into recent killings carried out by the Iraqi government at the behest of Tehran. Rajavi highlighted several separate incidents in which government agents targeted communities comprised of exiled members of the Iranian opposition group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, (PMOI/MEK).

Maryam Rajavi at French Parliament: UN Security Council must investigate Ward 350 Evin prison attack and group executions in Iran

In a meeting at the French National Assembly on Tuesday, May 6, the Iranian opposition leader, Maryam Rajavi, detailed a litany of extensive and unabated human rights abuses in Iran. “The regime is exploiting visits by European parliamentary and trade delegations to Iran to tell the Iranian people and political prisoners that despite the killings and suppression inside Iran, the West is standing with the mullahs," Mrs. Rajavi said. She went on to demand that "economic ties be predicated on a halt in the violations of human rights and an end to executions and torture."
