Iraq: Maliki's security advisor threatens Iranian dissidents, admits responsibility for attack on Camp Ashraf
- Published: Monday, 23 September 2013
NCRI - After three weeks of silence, Maliki’s National Security Advisor Faleh al-Fayyad who directly supervised the September 1st massacre in Ashraf, in a press conference on Sunday, September 22, admitted Iraqi government’s responsibility in the attack.
Terrified of the international and legal consequences of this great atrocity, he hideously blamed the attack on People’s Mojahedin Organization’s lack of cooperation and said: “This organization has not cooperated with Iraq or the UN in finding a voluntary humanitarian solution to leave Iraq… the last being abstinence of 100 members of this organization from leaving Camp New Iraq which led to the event of the first of this month and the killing of 52 members of residents of this base.”
After Maliki, Faleh al-Fayyad is the first culprit in the crime against humanity committed in Camp Ashraf. And he is the highest political and executive authority responsible for the massacre of Ashraf residents on September 1, 2013 and the missile attacks on Camp Liberty (on 9 February, 29 April, and 15 June 2013) in addition to the 8 April 2011 attack on Ashraf and a four year criminal siege of Ashraf and Liberty that led to the painful death of fourteen PMOI members.
Through fomenting crisis and resorting to threats of further measures against Liberty residents, Faleh al-Fayyad is attempting to fight off rising worldwide calls for the release of the hostages, trial of perpetrators of September 1 massacre, guaranteeing protection for Camp Liberty residents through deployment of UN Blue Helmets, as well as covering up crime against humanity.
In a blatant threat of massacre, arrest and extradition of Camp Liberty residents, he said: “In face of absence of any real international cooperation to end this file, government of Iraq has lost its patience… in case of absence of signs for a solution to end the presence of organization, the council of ministers and the government of Iraq will assess other options to issue a binding decision to end the presence in Camp Hurriya.”
Stressing that “Iraq is incapable of providing security conditions for Camp Liberty that are in excess to what the government provides to the people and that everyone on Iraqi soil faces such challenges”, Faleh al-Fayyad foretold further missile attacks on Camp Liberty.
While Maliki and his cohorts are poised to steal and plunder around 600 million dollars of PMOI (MEK) property in Ashraf, Faleh al-Fayyad said, “Government of Iraq is not just looking for recommendations; it wants countries involved in this file to provide solutions by offering tangible and real things by accepting them [residents] and providing money for their resettlement in other countries”.
Maliki’s Security Advisor made no reference to the issue of hostages and their presence in Iraq which is tacit admission that they are in the hands of Iraqi government.
The Iranian Resistance warns of the evil intentions of the Iranian regime and Government of Iraq to resort to a great massacre in Camp Liberty and calls on the U.S. government and the United Nations to fulfill their lawful responsibilities to release the seven hostages and protect the Camp Liberty residents. Khamenei and Maliki would interpret inaction and silence as a green light for a great massacre in Camp Liberty.
