Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) pointed out that the Iranian regime is carrying out desperate acts in a bid to “distract people from its own corruption”. Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) addressed the people of Iran directly, saying that the “entire free world” is able to see their struggle and reassured those listening that one day Iran will be free again.

Speaking about President Trump’s determination to address the Iranian regime’s belligerence and to put an end to the threat once and for all, Gen. (Ret.) Jack Keane pointed out no previous president of the U.S. “has been so committed to fundamental change in Iran”.

Former Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM) voiced his support for the alternative to the Iranian regime – the People’s Mojahedin (Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK) and NCRI, saying that it is a “strong” and competent organisation with a stellar 10-point plan for a future Iran that is based on values that the people of Iran want and deserve. He, as did many of his colleagues, commend Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the Resistance, on her determination and steadfast leadership.

Highlighting that the Iranian regime is incapable of change, former Sen. Robert Torricelli (D-NJ) warned that the people of Iran will never be free unless the regime falls, emphasizing that the time is now. He also emphasised that change “will come from young people in the streets of Tehran”.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) said that the Trump administration’s “maximum pressure” policy is an essential step in freeing the people of Iran from the “regime’s oppressive rule”. He said that the policy “promotes freedom and individual rights of the people” and said that he stands with the people in their quest for a brighter future.

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) shared his desire for an Iran where the people do not have to fear their government. An Iran where the will of the people is respected and where human rights are granted to all. An Iran that “abides by the rule of law and lives in peace and cooperation with its neighbors”.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) thanked the Resistance for its courage that has been displayed for decades and declared her support for “the fight that you are now waging to ensure that the people of Iran are free”.

Speaking about the regime’s malign activities in the Middle East and its suppression of the people of Iran, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) said he “full-heartedly” supports “Free Iran’s efforts to peacefully transform Iran into a more just nation that respects the rights of all Iranians”.

Rep. Van Taylor (R-TX) said that an Iran that no longer supports terrorism is essential and Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) highlighted that the current regime is selfish and only looks after its own interests.

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) called on the U.S. to “recognize the inherent right of these everyday Iranians and their noble quest for a better future and free, peaceful nation”. Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX) voiced his support for the peaceful efforts that will bring well overdue change.
