Iranian opposition protest in Sweden calls for release of Camp Ashraf hostages

NCRI – A large protest held by Iranians in Stockholm on Saturday condemned the September 1 massacre of Iranian dissidents in Camp Ashraf, Iraq and demanded the immediate release of seven taken hostage by Iraqi forces.

Iraqi forces under the command of Nouri al-Maliki attacked the camp and killed 52 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

The protesters also declared their support for hundreds of Iranian dissidents that are on hunger strike in Camp Liberty (Iraq), London, Geneva, Ottawa, and Berlin as a part of an international campaign to secure the release of seven hostages that include 6 women.
