Maryam Rajavi advises that world supports Iranian Resistance

Maryam Rajavi began by congratulating Iranian women who have united to fight against the mullahs in Iran and achieve equality, citing that Iranians are immensely proud of the women who have “waged one of the greatest resistances of the modern era” to fight for freedom and equality and, hopefully, overthrow the misogynist regime.

Maryam Rajavi said: “The religious fascism that today inflicts such suffering on the world with its terrorism, crimes and warmongering, will ultimately be defeated by these women.”
She saluted those in the crowd who were seeking to bring the stories of these women, many of whom were imprisoned, tortured, or murdered by the Regime, to the attention of the international community, and called on the women of the world to support the fights of their sisters in Iran.

Maryam Rajavi advised that the people of Iran are fighting as one to defeat the mullahs with thousands of individual protests and strikes happening last year, from teachers, nurses, students, farmers, retirees, defrauded investors, and families of prisoners, but the one thing they had in common was their demand for regime change. After all, the problems all trace back to the rule of the mullahs, whether it is the health crisis, extreme poverty, environmental decimation, water shortages, 40% inflation, a 50% deficit and 40% unemployment.

Maryam Rajavi said: “So long as the clerical regime is in power, none of these ills will be resolved. The ruling mullahs will become ever more dependent on their devastating policies, namely the suppression of Iranian society, warmongering and destructive meddling in the region, money laundering, terrorism in Europe and the United States, and plundering the assets of the people of Iran. The velayat-e faqih regime will continue all these policies until the day of its overthrow.”

She noted, however, that regime change without organisation and sacrifice is impossible, which is why Maryam Rajavi applauded the young people of Iran who are enthusiastically throwing themselves into the Resistance Units in order to help overthrow the mullahs.

Maryam Rajavi said: “They are the source of the endurance and prosperity of the organized resistance of the Iranian people inside Iran. And they are the reason those pretenders who neither want nor can afford to pay the price of freedom lack all credibility and fail.”

She went onto explain that now is a deadly time for the mullahs, because the policies that keep them in power – warmongering and terrorism – have undermined them in the face of the rest of the world, which means that change is now, more than ever, within reach.

Maryam Rajavi said: “There is a democratic and competent alternative, the National Council of Resistance of Iran. A Resistance deeply rooted in Iran which is capable of overthrowing the regime and managing affairs during the transition so that the Iranian people can choose their true representatives through free and fair elections.”

She advised that the rest of the world should now support the Iranian people’s struggle and declare the Regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and Ministry of Intelligence as terror groups.
