Massacre in Ashraf – hunger strike in Camp Liberty and Iranian hunger strike in Geneva, London and Berlin


Fourth day of hunger strike in Camp Liberty and Iranian hunger strike in Geneva, London and Berlin demanding release of 7 Mojahed hostages and stationing the UN blue helmets in Ashraf and Liberty  

Liberty residents’ hunger strike in protest of September 1st massacre in Camp Ashraf has entered its fourth day. In this massacre which took place at the order of Khamenei by the Iraqi security forces under command of Nuri Maliki and in total coordination with the Qods terrorist force, 52 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, PMOI, in Ashraf were executed by the Iraqi forces and 7 others were taken hostage.

Liberty residents announced that they will continue their hunger strike until all hostages including 6 Mojahed women are freed and the UN blue helmets are stationed in Camp Ashraf and camp Liberty to protect the residents. At the same time, Iranians supporters of PMOI members in Ashraf and Liberty started hunger strike in Geneva, London, and Berlin to support the demands of hunger strikers in Liberty.

In addition, Iranians in many capitals across the world started demonstrations protesting massacre of unarmed and defenseless residents of Ashraf who are asylum seekers and protected persons under fourth Geneva Convention.
