According to Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), “This is the biggest crime against humanity of the 21st century and it is being perpetrated by Khamenei, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), their mercenaries and the Assad regime.” Mr. Mohaddessin adds, “The despicable silence and inaction by the international community on this crime against humanity that is occuring in front of television cameras is a shame for contemporary history.”

“The Iranian regime and the IRGC are the main source of crises in the region and the massacre of the Syrian people. As long as the clerical regime is not evicted from Syria, Iraq, and other countries in the region, neither ISIS would be uprooted nor would the crisis in the region come to an end,” he continues.

“Aleppo will be forever the capital of resistance for freedom and an inspiration for all freedom-loving people. Aleppo will rise from its ruins and will herald the destruction of the Iranian regime and its allies and mercenaries in the region.”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) hailed the people of the besieged city of Aleppo, calling the massacre of innocent people a War Crime, as well as a crime against humanity.

Mass executions by the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards and their mercenary militias are underway in Aleppo. Inaction against this, what she calls “the greatest crime against humanity in the 21st century” is shameful. Mrs. Rajavi called on the international community to take urgent action to stop this brutal bloodbath and to prevent further massacres and killings.

She said,Aleppo is the eternal symbol of resistance and an inspiration to the people of the region and all freedom-seeking people striving to liberate themselves from the oppression of the religious dictatorship ruling Iran and its mercenaries. The regime in Tehran is the source of crisis in the region and killings in Syria; it has played the greatest role in the expansion and continuation of ISIS. Peace and tranquility in the region can only be achieved by evicting this regime from the region.”

The world has voiced outrage at the atrocities committed against the defenseless people of Aleppo. However, in a message from the Supreme Leader’s representative to Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force, Khamenei described the horrific crimes in Aleppo as a “proud” and “unrivaled triumph,” and “the biggest festival,” declaring December 27 as Thanksgiving” day.

Says Mrs. Rajavi, “This is an irrefutable evidence of the full responsibility of Khamenei and the leaders of his regime in crimes against humanity and underscores the need to bring them to justice.”
