Thanks to the emphasis on social media at Friday’s event, Governor Dean declared, the hashtag had essentially been taken away from the regime. So too would the country be taken back soon, Dean said proudly.
Referring back to Governor Dean’s speech later, Col Gary Morsch said that just as Howard Dean had taken credit for the world’s largest Twitter presence, Morsch would take the world’s largest “selfie.” Turning around and raising his smartphone over his head, Morsch snapped a picture of himself from the stage, with a sea of yellow shirts signifying the solidarity of the NCRI cause and stretching out behind him, far, far out of the frame.
