The signing of the November 24, 2013 nuclear agreement in Geneva between the P5+1 and the Iranian regime is an important milestone.  Analysts have been busy assessing the deal considered by some as historic, and by others as an interim step.

Cairo (Associated Press) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday tried to reassure America's Arab friends that the United States will not allow them to be attacked "from outside," in an apparent warning to Iran.

Iran may achieve the “critical capability” to process low-enriched uranium into material for a nuclear weapon without detection by international inspectors by mid-2014, according to a report by a research group.

The Russian daily Kommersant reports from a Russian foreign ministry source that President Vladimir Putin will have his first trip to Tehran since 2007 on August 12 to discuss restarting the P5+1 nuclear talks on Iran’s nuclear program. The visit is scheduled for nine days after Hassan Rowhani formally takes office on Aug. 3.  Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "I cannot so far confirm this".

AFP - An exiled Iranian opposition group claimed on Thursday to have evidence of a hidden nuclear site located in tunnels beneath a mountain near the town of Damavand, 70 kilometres (44 miles) northeast of Tehran.
