Maryam Rajavi welcomes French President emphasis on firm Iran nuclear policy

INU - President Hollande’s warning regarding the need to prevent the Iranian regime from acquiring a nuclear bomb, must turn into a firm policy against the Iranian regime by the Security Council

NCRI - Mrs Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, welcomed French President’s statements regarding the necessity to prevent the Iranian regime’s access to nuclear bomb.

Maryam Rajavi stressed that these statements must be taken seriously by the international community especially the Security Council and turned into a practical firm policy against this regime and its nuclear projects and to end all appeasement towards the regime.

President Hollande emphasized on Sunday June 2 that if the Iranian regime acquires nuclear bomb, "not only the security of the Middle East will be threatened, but most probably the European continent will also face the threat should Iran acquires a nuclear weapon”.

Le Figaro quoted the French Foreign Affairs Minister as saying: “The red line that exists for Paris is that Iran should not be able to bring the international community to a deal that allows it to acquire nuclear bomb by giving some concessions in Syria.”
