According to the Washington Post, experts agree that without unfettered access to all sites, including Iran’s military ones, there is no way to truly stop Iran’s regime from moving forward to a nuclear bomb.

Human rights have not been part of these talks, in spite of the fact that the Iranian people are now facing some incredible human rights violations. Nearly 1,800 individuals have been executed during President Hassan Rouhani’s term, despite claims of moderation.

Earlier this month, Paris hosted a pro-democratic rally for Iran. More than 100,000 of Iranians and leaders from Western, Arab and Asian nations attended to show their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its president-elect, Maryam Rajavi and her 10 Point Plan for Iran. The plan includes a secular, non-nuclear Iran. Rajavi pointed out that Iranians are demanding jobs, freedom and democracy.

“If you do not want a nuclear-armed fundamentalist regime, stop appeasing it. Do not bargain over the human rights of the Iranian people and recognize their organized Resistance which is striving for freedom. You are gravely mistaken in thinking that there is no solution. There is a solution for ending the mullahs’ nuclear weapons program: regime change by the Iranian people and Resistance,” said Rajavi.

The consensus in the US is bi-partisan against concessions to Iran. “We unequivocally support a non-nuclear Iran. Iran should have no, none, zero nuclear capacity because the regime in Iran can’t be trusted with it. You do not put weapons of mass destruction in the hands of a psychopathic, homicidal murderer,” said former New York mayor and a Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani.

Warning that the mullahs must never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, Rep. Brad Sherman, the ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on terrorism, nonproliferation and trade, said, “The current Iranian regime is not only an existential threat to US allies in the Middle East, but also a defiant proliferator of terrorism and extremism.”

Rajavi called for enforcement of the current UN Security Council resolutions and end any concessions to Iran. Many of the rallies speakers pointed to the fact that Iran is the primary source of terrorism in the region and that their influence is spilling over into the global community.
