While participating in his latest election campaign, presidential candidate Qalibaf admitted of “the incompetence of the clerical regime to run the affairs of the country.”
Speaking about Iran’s relations with the US, he remarked, “A young man said to me that if relations with America improve the conditions of our country will improve. I replied that the plight of our country is due to our own incompetence.”
