Sky News: Election Will Weaken Iranian Regime

“Through the presidential election the Iranian regime thinks it will be experiencing an unprecedented practice of democracy and strengthen this apparatus,” the reports continues.

However, western media reports indicate these polls will render a weaker regime. This weakness will be witnessed in all the regime’s core policies regarding domestic crackdown and exporting terrorism abroad.

However, the meaning of opposition inside this regime has, and will not have any place in Iran’s political spectrum. The future president must be loyal to the framework and foundations specified by the Supreme Leader, including the Revolutionary Guards and Guardian Council.

Terms such as “principalists” and “reformists” in Iran are nothing but fraud and deceiving the people, as all power is in the grasps of one individual, being the Supreme Leader.
