Iran Needs to Be Stopped Once and for All and the International Community Needs to Act

The people of Iran know and understand corruption that stems from a religious struggle. The situation with the leadership in Iran has deteriorated over the past few decades and the struggles are getting muddled and religion is being interpreted in ways that are less than peaceful. In the midst of all this, individuals in the leadership are getting caught in the power struggle and follow their own agendas. They justify their actions with religion. The aim becomes unclear or distorted. Those that behaved the worst became the ones with the most control. The innocent people of Iran became worse off.

It reads, “Iran continued its terrorist-related activity in 2016, including support for Hizballah, Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza, and various groups in Syria, Iraq, and throughout the Middle East. Iran used the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps‑Qods Force (IRGC-QF) to implement foreign policy goals, provide cover for intelligence operations, and create instability in the Middle East. Iran has acknowledged the involvement of the IRGC-QF in the conflicts in Iraq and Syria and the IRGC-QF is Iran’s primary mechanism for cultivating and supporting terrorists abroad.”
