The Americans and the entire world know that one of the operation goals of the IRGC Navy is eliminating the US Navy. And the IRGC has the most powerful undersea missile in the world. So, it is natural that we want to sink these destroyers. We would do this to defeat and humiliate the Americans.”
After his bluffs about being able to demolish a destroyer in 50 seconds, this IRGC commander admitted that the mullah’s regime has a long history of using terror and suicide operations:
“While every weapon you want exists on that destroyer, they know that these weapons are not effective against a new strategy based on faith and martyrdom-seeking. This situation is the result of adopting a new, precise, and correct strategy by the IRGC Navy and we will continue this process.”
