NCRI - The head of the Iranian regime's parliament pledged on Friday that the regime "will be ready to sacrifice its life for the [Lebanese] Hezbollah."
Reacting to the United States condemnation of laying a wreath on the grave of Imad Mugniyah by the Iranian regime's foreign minister, Ali Larijani said that his regime "is proud of Hezbollah."
Larijani was speaking for a group of members the Iranian regime's Revolutionary Guards Corp on Friday, state-run Fars news agency reported.
White House spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said on Wednesday that inhumane violence perpetrated by Hezbollah's Imad Mugniyah had deadly and destabilizing effects for Lebanon and the region.
She said Mugniyah is responsible for "heinous acts of terrorism" that killed hundreds, including Americans.
Hayden said the Iranian regime's Foreign Minister Mohammed Zarif's decision to visit Mugniyah's grave sends the wrong message and worsens regional tensions.
