INU - The leader of the Iranian Resistance, Maryam Rajavi, has called for the release of the Iranian educators arrested last week for their protests on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

Maryam Rajavi explained that large groups of teachers staged protests on May 2 in 18 of Iran's 31 provinces in order to draw attention to their dire living conditions, low wages, and extreme repression, as well as call for the release of teachers arrested during previous protests and strikes.
