European Parliament meeting: Iranian Revolution Anniversary

Strasbourg - 12 February 2015 - On Wednesday 11 February, the 36th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution against the Shah dictatorship in 1979 which was hijacked by the Islamic fundamentalists, a meeting was held by Friends of a Free Iran in the European Parliament, chaired by Belgian MEP Gérard Deprez (ALDE) to discuss the current events and challenges for democracy in Iran.

American and European dignitaries strongly criticized Obama administration for making concessions to Iran in Paris conference

INU-Republican and Democratic dignitaries from the US on Saturday strongly criticized the Obama administration’s soft policy on Iran and warned about the consequences of offering too many unwarranted concessions to Tehran on the nuclear talks. They also condemned the Iranian regime’s suppressive domestic conduct and egregious regional policies and demanded a much more robust position by the US.  They were joined by a number of European politicians.

Honoring 36th anniversary of antimonarchy revolution in Iran

I salute you all.

On the anniversary of the anti-monarchic revolution we pay homage to the martyrs of that great revolution.

Hail to the true pioneers and leaders of that revolution, whose blood, according to Ayatollah Taleqani, paved the way for change.

Hail to Mohammad Hanifnejad, Saeed Mohsen and Ali Asghar Badizadegan, the founders of the Mujahedin-e Khalq, and we salute Bijan Jazani, Massoud Ahmadzadeh, Amir Parviz Pouyan, Shokrollah Paknejad, Fatemeh Amini, Marzieh Oskouii and Azam Rouhi Ahangaran.

Feb. 8, is  the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ashraf Rajavi and Moussa Khiabani and 17 of their comrades in 1982. The Iranian people’s whose aspirations and demands have been suppressed for the past 36 years, yet have not abandoned their cries for freedom and regime change for even one day. Just like the Shah’s monarchy, they will bring down the mullahs’ rule as well.

French Judiciary confirms dismissal of case against Iranian opposition

PARIS, February 5, 2015 (AFP) - The Court of Appeal of Paris confirmed on Thursday the dismissal of an investigation into the People's Mojahedin (PMOI/MEK) initiated in 2001 by the French anti-terrorist department, announced the lawyers of the Iranian opposition group.
