INU – At midnight Saturday in Tehran, a crowd of youth took advantage of the opportunity to gather in the streets to march from Yousef Abad towards Vanak square chanting slogans like: “Political prisoners must be freed,” “We don’t want the Government of Guidance [Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance] patrols,” “Satar Beheshti’s way will continue to go on,” and “Do not be afraid we are all together.”


However, the regime’s mercenaries and police, on motorcycles and in cars, attacked the crowd mercilessly, beating them with sticks and batons, and kicking them.
