U.S. Ambassador Haley Wants UN's Middle East Agenda  to focus on Iran

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley criticized the UN Security Council on the topic of Middle East, after her first meeting in February, for an “anti-Israel bias.”  She wants to use the organization’s monthly meeting on Thursday, to turn the focus from Israel to Iran, the Trump administration’s latest target.

Struan Stevenson: Iran's IRGC Involved in TV Exec's Assassination

 U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson recently accused Iran of being "a leading state sponsor of terror through many platforms and methods." Particularly concerning to the U.S. are the activities of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Quds Force, who are engaged in every conflict in the Middle East.

Mattis, Tillerson Demonstrate White House's Growing Willingness to Confront Iran

INU - On Wednesday, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis began a week-long tour of the Middle East. As Voice of America News reported, the tour began with talks in Riyadh, where Mattis’ Saudi Arabian counterpart Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman affirmed the Gulf Arab kingdom’s interest in cooperating broadly with the United States over regional issues including the confrontation of expanding Iranian influence.

IRGC's 38 Year Record Shows Why a Terrorist Designation Is Necessary for Middle East Peace

April 22nd marked the 38th anniversary of the founding of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC). Chairman of Iran’s Armed Forces Command, General Mohammad Bagheri, said the IRGC “acted as the ‘security shield’ of the Iranian nation and all the Muslim people through their presence in Syria and Iraq.” He added, “The country would have been lost if not for the IRGC.”

Tehran Calls for Investigations Despite Clear Iranian Knowledge of Goings-On in Syria

INU - In a video clip posted by USA Today on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif contributed to the ongoing criticism that his government and its Russian allies have been levying against the United States since the April 6 US missile strike on Syria’s Al-Shayrat air base. The strike was ordered by President Donald Trump in response to a chemical attack that killed at least 80 people in the rebel-controlled town of Khan Sheikhoun. But Zarif’s remarks accused the United States of using that incident as a pretense for pursuing political gains.
