Defense Department hails “bold operation” that degraded Iranian enrichment capability

Pentagon officials have announced that the United States’ recent airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities have significantly impeded Tehran’s progress. Chief Defense Department spokesperson Sean Parnell said Wednesday: “I think we’re thinking probably closer to two years — like degraded their program by two years.”

According to the Pentagon, the attacks, which targeted three major nuclear sites, received widespread approval among allied nations. “What we’ve seen, in fact just universally among our allies, was them congratulating the United States… on that bold operation and the idea that American action in Iran has set the conditions for global stability,” Parnell stated.

Although Iran has publicly downplayed the extent of the damage, independent analysts and intelligence sources confirm that enrichment operations have been severely disrupted. The Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities were all affected, with the latter two sustaining extensive structural and technical damage.
