PMOI Resistance Units Expand Support for Anti-Execution Campaign

PMOI Resistance Units and young activists carried out coordinated activities in multiple Iranian cities in support of the nationwide “No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign, expressing solidarity with political prisoners and condemning the Iranian regime’s continued use of the death penalty.

The campaign, which has gained momentum inside Iran’s prisons and among activists across the country, continues to draw public support through symbolic acts of resistance and messages opposing executions.

Honoring Executed Political Prisoners

During their activities, Resistance Units commemorated executed PMOI members Mohammad Taqavi, Behrouz Ehsani, and Mehdi Hassani, leaving flowers and lighting candles in their memory.

Participants displayed handwritten messages honoring the three men, including:

“Mohammad, you will never be forgotten. You are with us every moment.”

Another tribute declared:

“In memory of Behrouz Ehsani and Mehdi Hassani, our friends without graves. The blood of our martyrs and the suffering of our prisoners are united in you, heroic Rajavi.”

The memorials emphasized the determination of supporters to preserve the memory of those executed despite the regime’s attempts to silence dissent.

Calls to End Executions

The Resistance Units also displayed slogans denouncing the death penalty and demanding freedom for political prisoners. Among the messages featured during the activities were:

• “Political prisoners must be freed. No to executions.”
• “Justice cannot be achieved through executions.”

The demonstrations highlighted continued support for the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, which has become a prominent symbol of opposition to the regime’s escalating use of capital punishment against political prisoners and dissidents.
