In the wake of  Sharif University students’ bold confrontation with the regime’s forces, students held protests in Science & Industry, Isfahan, Mashhad, Birjand, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Sanandaj, Semnan, Najafabad, Yazd, Zanjan, Urmia universities among others.

With chants of “Death to the dictator,” they defied the mullahs’ ruling regime and its attempt to silence students. Unity and continued struggle of courageous students is the key to victory.”

Yesterday after 18 days, finally the regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei broke his silence while fully backing the security forces in killing and arresting the people. The regime’s IRGC, police force, and the Basij militias are leading the crackdown on the protests.

Khamenei threatened the people and said: “Those who ignited unrest to sabotage the Islamic Republic deserve harsh prosecution and punishment.”

Despite his threats and claiming that the protests had been “engineered”, the protests have become the biggest challenge to his rule in the past four decades.

Now protests are being recorded everywhere. Even schoolgirls have joined the protests chanting slogans and challenging the regime’s entirety.
