Foreign Minister Araghchi says site is unusable but pledges nuclear reconstruction and enrichment continuation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has confirmed that the Fordow nuclear site sustained major damage during Israeli airstrikes and is currently inoperable. He stated that the Atomic Energy Organization is assessing the situation and that repairs may take time. Despite this setback, Araghchi reiterated that Iran’s nuclear program remains a source of national pride and will continue.

He rejected accusations of weaponization and asserted that Iran’s nuclear goals are peaceful. The foreign minister also emphasized that past assassinations and sabotage have not deterred the country’s pursuit of nuclear energy, and insisted that Iran will continue to enrich uranium using indigenous technology.
